General
Our primary farmer is the Yon Family Farm in Ridge Spring, SC. Other ingredients come from small farmers that have opened farm stands within Aiken County and New Ellenton. Another reason our by-product chews might not stay in stock regularly, because these farmer's do not have commercial quantities.
Yes!I recommend putting the treats in the fridge upon receiving them or taking them home. They are dehydrated, but even opened or unopened, the only way to guarantee freshness is to keep them in a temperature-controlled fridge or freezer, due to the lack of preservatives. Signs of spoilage include fuzzy white mold like bad fruit.
All treat ingredients have been thoroughly researched and combined under the supervision of experts in veterinarian medicine. Each batch is also tested amongst our quality control team members - Dixie, Dolly, Hank. The treats available have a large enough variety to suit the needs and diet restrictions for many pets - sensitive stomachs, pancreatitis, diabetes, kidney disease, weight management, etc. Always consult with your veterinarian before introducing new treats to your dog's diet regiment.
