Another reason our by-product chews might not stay in stock regularly, because these farmer's do not have commercial quantities.

They are dehydrated, but even opened or unopened, the only way to guarantee freshness is to keep them in a temperature-controlled fridge or freezer, due to the lack of preservatives. Signs of spoilage include fuzzy white mold like bad fruit.
